Eintracht Frankfurt has issued an unusually tough and ironic statement directed at journalists from BILD.

Details: The conflict arose from questions at a press conference that, according to the club, were based on opinions from questionable sources. The club called on the publication to adhere to journalistic ethics and to avoid relying on hyped-up podcasts with tarnished reputations.

In its official address to BILD's division, Eintracht suggested that journalists agree on professional standards.

"Let's agree that questions to our head coach at press conferences should not be based on opinions from a podcast where one of the hosts' pe*** photos has already made the rounds online," the club's bold statement read.

Eintracht representatives emphasized that using such content to set the agenda at official events is an unserious approach.

Reminder: Dubai Palm City has set its sights on Eintracht midfielder Mario Götze.
