Zamalek and Al Masry SC have both qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals after finishing the group stage. Zamalek came first in Group D with 14 points, and Al Masry SC came second with 9 points, allowing both Egyptian teams to move forward. They join Al Ahly and Pyramids FC, who also reached the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League.
One of the three clubs in second place, including Algeria's CS Constantine, will now face Zamalek. In contrast, Al Masry SC may play one of the three group winners: Simba SC from Tanzania, CR Belouizdad from Algeria, or Raja Casablanca from Morocco.
The date for the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal draw has not been announced yet.
