26-year-old captain of the Edmonton Oilers, Connor McDavid, has reached the milestone of 900 points in his NHL career. During the night, he participated in all the goals for his team in the match against Philadelphia (5:2), scoring a goal and providing 4 assists.

To reach 900 points, McDavid only needed 602 games, making it the fifth-fastest achievement in league history. Only Wayne Gretzky (385 games), Mario Lemieux (463), Mike Bossy (582), and Peter Stastny (599) reached 900 points faster.

In total, McDavid has now accumulated 903 points in the NHL (317 goals and 586 assists).

In 35 games, Edmonton has gathered 39 points and currently occupies the ninth spot in the Western Conference.
