The Formula 1 season has only just begun, but changes have already taken place within one of the teams, specifically at the leadership level.

Details: As reported on the official Formula 1 platform, Jonathan Wheatley has stepped down from his role as Audi team principal. Personal reasons have been cited as the cause. Mattia Binotto will continue to lead the team, taking over the position of team principal.

However, according to the latest rumours, Wheatley has received an offer to take charge of Aston Martin F1 Team, while Adrian Newey will focus on the technical side.

Meanwhile, the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix will forever go down in motorsport history. Young Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli claimed his first victory, turning the achievement into a national celebration in Italy.

Reminder: The 2026 Formula 1 calendar has undergone significant changes, with two Grands Prix cancelled.
