Details: According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool’s management is set to pursue two Leipzig players during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The report states that Ivorian winger Jan Diomande and French defender Castello Lukeba have been identified by the Reds’ hierarchy as prime candidates to fill the void left by the departing Salah and Van Dijk.
For their part, Leipzig have declared their readiness to sell both stars, but have set a combined price tag of no less than £148 million for the duo.
This season, Diomande has featured in 39 matches for Leipzig, netting 13 goals and providing 9 assists. His market value is estimated at €45 million by Transfermarkt.
As for Lukeba, he has made 25 appearances, scoring once and delivering one assist, with his market value also set at €45 million according to Transfermarkt.
