Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has drawn attention to the uneven playing field in preparation for the upcoming Champions League second leg against PSG.

Details: The controversy arose after the French league fixture between Lens and PSG was rescheduled. According to the Hungarian international, this gives the Parisians a two-day advantage for recovery and preparation, while the Merseysiders are forced to operate under maximum workload conditions.

Szoboszlai emphasized that the congested English Premier League schedule forces the team to give their all in every single round. In particular, Liverpool had to endure a tough match against Fulham, fielding almost their full-strength squad, and immediately switch their focus to the Champions League.

“It really matters when your opponent has time to rest between two crucial games, while we have to play matches back to back,” the Merseysiders' leader pointed out.

It’s worth noting that the Liverpool vs PSG match will take place on Tuesday, April 14, at 21:00 Central European Time.

Reminder: Liverpool's attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz could surpass the record of the legendary Egyptian!
