In the 11th round of the English Premier League, Manchester City hosted Bournemouth at their home ground.

The first half was dominated by the hosts and ended with a thrashing of Bournemouth. Between the 30th and 37th minutes, City scored three goals. Newcomer Jeremy Doku contributed with a goal and two assists. Bernardo Silva and Manuel Akanji also found the back of the net.

At the beginning of the second half, Bournemouth managed to score a goal, but it was disallowed due to an offside. Fifteen minutes later, Manchester City scored again. Phil Foden, who came on as a substitute, was the scorer, and once again, Doku provided the assist, later assisting Bernardo as well.

Bournemouth did manage to score a goal, but it had no impact on the final result.
