Does Verstappen Have Problems? Red Bull's Technical Director Criticizes the Team's New Car

The Red Bull team encountered issues during the pre-season tests. Technical Director Pierre Waché stated that the three-day testing program did not go as the team had planned and highlighted the unstable and unpredictable behavior of the new RB21 car on the track.

Quote: "The tests did not go as smoothly as we had hoped, but it's better to uncover problems now than during the races. That's exactly why we're here – to better understand the car. I can't say I'm satisfied, because the car sometimes responded in ways we didn't want. Our progress was not as significant as expected. We have work to do before the first race and subsequent updates."
