Galatasaray's president gave his comment on Fenerbahçe's actions in the Turkish Super Cup match.

In his post-match comment, Dursun Özbek questioned Fenerbahçe about why they were using children and why they had no remorse for the U-19 team. According to him, these actions are madness.

"They said a lot: 'We will come out with U-19 players, we will do this, we will do that…' This is madness, after all, it's a game. The final game. This is the Turkish Super Cup, and it's very important. Isn't it a pity for the children from the U-19 team? They are our youth, the future of football. Why are you using these children?" stated Dursun Özbek.

The president of Galatasaray added that he is saddened by this match and such a victory. They found themselves in a situation they never expected or anticipated.

Recall that in the Turkish Super Cup match, Fenerbahçe fielded 11 players, the oldest of whom was 19 years old. The match started with a goal from Icardi in the first minute and ended in just a few moments. Fenerbahçe's coach withdrew his team from the field.
