Déjà vu. Manchester City repeated an unpleasant achievement after 42 months

A major upset occurred in the 11th round of the English Premier League. The reigning champions, Manchester City, once again disappointed.

The "Citizens" lost 2-1 away to Brighton. It's worth noting that thanks to a goal from Haaland after the first half, Pep Guardiola's men were leading. However, Brighton delivered a fantastic second half and claimed the three points, leaving Pep with nothing.

Interestingly, this was the first time since 2006 that City lost four consecutive matches, and for Guardiola, it was a first in his managerial career. Also, Manchester City lost a Premier League match in which they were leading at halftime for the first time since May 2021. Notably, it was also an away match against Brighton.

The team will remain in second place after this round but risks extending their deficit to Liverpool to five points.
