We previously reported that Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood is reluctant to return to Old Trafford, but it seems he may stay in Spain.

According to The Times, his current club, Getafe, are ready to go ahead with a labour deal. On what rights, namely the extension of the lease or the execution of a full transfer, the source does not specify.

Recall that Greenwood moved to Getafe last summer on a one-year loan from Manchester United amid allegations of domestic violence.

It was because of the lack of support for the Red Devils that the 22-year-old striker took offence at the club, refusing to return to it.

It is also noted that Greenwood likes it in Spain, and the three biggest clubs in the country, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético, are interested in him.

In 22 matches for Getafe in La Liga on account of 22-year-old Englishman 5 goals and 5 assists.
