Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick delivered some disappointing news ahead of a crucial fixture.
Details: The Blaugrana boss, speaking at the pre-match press conference before the La Liga clash against Getafe, confirmed that Brazilian winger Raphinha—one of the team's key attacking players—is still not ready to return to action.
According to Flick, both Raphinha and Marc Bernal are not currently training with the squad. This means both players are certain to miss tomorrow’s match.
“We are monitoring their condition on a daily basis. I hope the situation will improve significantly by the start of next week,” commented the German coach.
Raphinha’s absence is a major challenge for the coaching staff, as the Brazilian has been in excellent form. This season, he has already netted 19 goals and provided 8 assists in 31 appearances for the Catalan side.
Reminder: Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong picked the greatest player of all time.
