Diogo Jota hints at Trent Alexander-Arnold’s upcoming contract extension

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain. However, Diogo Jota’s comments suggest that a new agreement may be closer than it seems.

Details. In an interview with Sky Sports, when asked what he would give his teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold for Christmas, Jota responded with a smile: "Paper and a pen, so he can sign a new contract."

He laughed at the end, along with the Sky Sports reporter, but this clearly hints that the England star could extend his contract with the Reds. Many fans pointed out that Jota wouldn't have said this if a new deal for Alexander-Arnold wasn't imminent.
