Dillon Sheppard to assist newly-appointed Fernando da Cruz' at Kaizer Chiefs

Dillon Sheppard is to be appointed assistant to Fernando da Cruz at Kaizer Chiefs.

The former SA youth international has been one of the development coaches at Amakhosi and now he is earmarked for a position as one of Cruz's assistant.

Sheppard will also not be new in the workings of the first team at Chiefs given that he was assistant to Arthur Zwane while he was in charge of Amakhosi three seasons ago.

His appointment will be to allow da Cruz to continue with how Chiefs plays as they announced da Cruz yesterday.

It is not clear if Cruz is arriving with his own assistant as this has been the norm when new coaches arrive for a new position.

Da Cruz is fairly no stranger to how Chiefs work as he left them in he middle of their pre-season to join the Moroccan Federation when Naseriden Nabi took charge of Chiefs.
