On Wednesday, December 17, the final of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup is taking place, with PSG facing Flamengo. A controversial incident occurred right at the start of the match.

Details: Flamengo’s goalkeeper attempted to prevent a corner and came off his line to clear the ball, but did so extremely poorly. The ball fell to PSG, and Fabián Ruiz slotted it into an empty net. However, after a VAR review, the officials ultimately disallowed the goal, as the ball had gone out of play.
