WBC bantamweight champion Devin Haney has spoken out about the possibility of a rematch with his compatriot, Ryan Garcia.
"I'll take some time... Spend some of my money... Travel the world and then I'll come back two years after Ryan's suspension and we can fight again," Haney wrote on his social media X page.
Garcia defeated Haney by judges' decision in April. Garcia was underweight on the eve of the fight, so he couldn't claim the title.
However, there was a very controversial situation around the fight due to Garcia's doping samples. In his body found a positive doping test, which found in the body of the athlete banned substance ostarine.
The boxer himself stated that he had never taken steroids in his life. He repeatedly emphasised that he defeated Haney fair and square.
