Details have emerged regarding the health of Independiente's head coach Carlos Tevez, who was hospitalized due to chest pains.

"Carlos Tevez has completed his medical evaluation and has been discharged. He will return home to rest and resume training tomorrow," stated Independiente in an official statement.

A reminder that the Manchester City and Argentina legend complained of chest pains on Wednesday morning and was taken to the hospital for medical examination.

The 40-year-old Tevez became Independiente's head coach in August 2023 and extended his contract until 2026 in December. Currently, the team occupies the sixth position in the Argentine championship.

Tevez is best known for his performances with Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus, Corinthians, and Boca Juniors.
