Despite everything, Boxbollen supports McGregor after scandal
After a jury found Conor McGregor guilty of raping Nikita Hand, the Irish fighter found himself in a tough spot. In addition to the legal issues, several brands began severing ties with him. However, there were still some who chose to stand by him—Swedish fitness company Boxbollen has decided to continue its partnership with McGregor, reports TMZ.
Boxbollen specializes in promoting home fitness products. Despite the controversy, the company has chosen to support McGregor and will not terminate its collaboration.
"We are aware of the recent developments, and while we take such matters seriously, our partnership with him remains unchanged as he has consistently supported our efforts to encourage people of all ages to prioritize their health through exercise and activity," said Jacob Eriksson, co-founder of Boxbollen, in a statement to TMZ.
It should be noted that other brands, such as the whiskey brand Proper No. 12 and video game company IO Interactive, which produces the popular Hitman franchise, have already cut ties with McGregor.
