Despite doping case, Mudryk included in Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League squad
Chelsea is preparing for the UEFA Conference League playoffs, and the club has now submitted its squad list for the competition. Mykhailo Mudryk has been included.
Details: According to The Athletic journalist Ben Jacobs, the Ukrainian winger remains in Chelsea’s squad for the UEFA Conference League despite his temporary suspension following a positive test for meldonium.
Currently, sample B, taken alongside sample A, is being tested for the presence of meldonium and other compounds. During this process, the parties involved are not required to disclose when or if the result has been determined, as the procedure remains confidential.
Previously, it was reported that Chelsea had a relatively quiet winter transfer window, focusing primarily on selling and loaning players. Head coach Enzo Maresca recently shared his thoughts on the club’s transfer activity.
Reminder: The UEFA Conference League playoffs are set to begin soon, and clubs are required to submit their squad lists. Chelsea has already announced its squad for the competition.
