Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin leads in La Liga in the important statistic for a goalkeeper.

The Ukrainian shot-stopper is the leader among goalkeepers in Spain's elite division in terms of the percentage of saves made. The statistics only accounted for goalkeepers who made at least 15 saves in the tournament.

This season, Lunin has made 36 saves for his team, with a save percentage of 76.6% of the total number of shots on target faced by the Ukrainian.

In the top three are also Claudio Bravo from Real Betis (76.2%) and Unai Simon from Athletic Bilbao (74.8%).

Earlier reports stated that Real Madrid will offer the Ukrainian goalkeeper a new contract with improved terms at the end of the season.

After Thibaut Courtois suffered a serious injury, Chelsea loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga became Real's main goalkeeper, but Lunin outperformed him in the winter. In the current season, the 25-year-old Ukrainian has played 23 games for Real in all competitions, keeping 10 clean sheets.
