Denmark-based South African midfielder Gift Links on his Bafana Bafana snub: I can only control what I can and that is to play for my team
Bafana coach is yet to reveal why Links has not been drafted into the national set-up
Gift Links’ hands are limited when it comes to playing for Bafana Bafana.
The Denmark-based midfielder said his only chief duty is to deliver for his club Aarhus GF and Bafana selection is not in his hands.
Links, who recently played 200 games in Denmark, was speaking Danish publication Campo, where he revealed he has not been in touch with anyone from the national team.
"All I can do is play as much as possible here and help my team," Links explained. "That's the most important thing. I'm not going to go ahead and ask: 'Why am I not being selected?' That's not up to me," he added.
"The most important thing is that I continue to work hard, and whatever happens, happens. That's my mentality," the former Cape Town City midfielder concluded.
