Deco wants to see Grimaldo at Barcelona
Barcelona's sporting director is looking to bolster the club's defense.
Details: According to insider Fernando Polo, the Portuguese manager of the Catalan club is seriously interested in the services of experienced German defender Alejandro Grimaldo.
Deco highly values the experience and quality of Bayer's left-back, as well as his playing style—which, in the sporting director's opinion, is a perfect fit for Barcelona.
Last season, Grimaldo made 48 appearances for the Leverkusen side, scored 4 goals, and provided a remarkable 13 assists.
It is noted that due to his current contract with Bayer, which runs until 2027, and a price tag of 40 million euros, organizing a move to Barcelona will not be easy.
Reminder: Fati's move to Monaco has been delayed. The reason is known.
