Viktor Gyökeres delivered a phenomenal season and is now a hot commodity for numerous clubs. However, disagreements have arisen with the management, and the Swedish forward has made up his mind.
Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Viktor Gyökeres has already informed Sporting of his desire to leave the club and has no intention of playing for them any longer. He wants to start a new chapter in his career and is extremely disappointed that he hasn’t been allowed to leave. The forward will stop training with the team.
Earlier reports indicated that Sporting’s management denied any willingness to part ways with the striker for £59 million. Sources suggest that the player himself is extremely dissatisfied with the club’s stance and no longer wants to take the field in their shirt.
Gyökeres believes the club violated a gentleman’s agreement under which he was supposed to be released for a pre-agreed sum.
Reminder: Juventus is showing serious interest in signing Viktor Gyökeres, whose chances of moving to the Premier League this summer have significantly diminished.
