The Senegalese striker's name was discussed during negotiations between Chelsea and Aston Villa regarding Morgan Rogers' £117m transfer. The Birmingham club has been monitoring Jackson for some time and sees him as a key option to bolster their attacking line.
The main factor in the potential deal could be Emery himself. The Spaniard knows the striker's abilities well, having previously coached him at Villarreal.
At this stage, both sides have only expressed interest—there is no official agreement yet for Jackson's transfer. Chelsea values the forward at around £65m.
