Antonio Conte left Napoli following the end of the season, and the club’s hierarchy have now decided on his replacement.
Details: According to Gianluca Di Marzio, former AC Milan and Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri will become the new manager of Napoli. The two sides have fully agreed on the terms of a two-year contract. The race against Vincenzo Italiano ultimately ended in victory for the Tuscan coach.
However, Napoli had recently been seriously considering Vincenzo Italiano for the managerial position. Italiano had been in charge of Bologna and guided the club to Coppa Italia glory in 2025.
As a reminder: Italian side Napoli could soon find themselves at the centre of one of the biggest deals in the history of world sport.
