The Austrian national team is strengthening its squad with some serious talent.
Details: According to renowned journalist and insider Florian Plettenberg on his social media page X, 22-year-old Borussia Dortmund central midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has decided to represent Austria at senior international level.
It is reported that despite Chukwuemeka featuring for England's youth teams at U17 and U20 levels, Carney has chosen Austria, believing he has a better chance of breaking into their main squad for the 2026 World Cup.
