Deal nears record! Zabarnyi one step away from PSG

Bournemouth's defender could soon become the most expensive footballer in Ukrainian history.
Details: Paris Saint-Germain remain determined to sign young Ukraine and Bournemouth centre-back Illia Zabarnyi, sports journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports on his X page.
According to the source, PSG’s €50 million offer did not satisfy Bournemouth’s management. The English club made it clear they want at least €75 million for the Ukrainian talent.
PSG have currently put negotiations on hold and are in no rush to make a decision. However, if the transfer goes through, Illia Zabarnyi will become the most expensive Ukrainian footballer in history—a title currently held by Mykhailo Mudryk, who joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk for €70 million. Although there were earlier reports of a €100 million fee, €30 million of that sum was in bonuses that were never paid out.
During the 2024/25 season, Zabarnyi played 39 matches for Bournemouth and recorded one assist.
The portal Transfermarkt values the player at €42 million.
Reminder: Donnarumma will decide his future after meeting with PSG’s management
