De Rossi begins a squad purge. Roma will part ways with the midfielder in the summer

Daniele De Rossi, despite his short tenure as Roma's head coach, has already outlined a list of players he is not counting on, and the Romans could make a purge in the summer.

The midfielder Nicola Zalewski lost his place at the heart of the Wolves with the arrival of De Rossi, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have authorised the 22-year-old Pole to look for a new club. But that doesn't mean the Romans are willing to let the player go for nothing.

It is reported that a potential buyer would have to shell out in the region of €13-16 million for Zalewski, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €12 million. The coming summer will be the last opportunity to earn on the Pole, as his contract is valid until June 2025.

Earlier, it was reported that Roma decided to extend the agreement with De Rossi.
