The current head coach of AS Roma, Daniele De Rossi, is set to retain his position for the upcoming season.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Roma's leadership has decided to extend De Rossi's contract. However, the duration of this new agreement has not yet been disclosed.

De Rossi's existing contract with Roma is set to expire in June of this year.

The former midfielder and captain of Roma assumed the role of head coach in January, succeeding Jose Mourinho. Under De Rossi's stewardship, Roma has contested 16 matches, suffering defeat in only 2.

In Serie A, Roma currently occupies fifth place, and in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, they triumphed over Milan with a scoreline of 1-0.
