Atalanta and Belgium national team midfielder Charles De Ketelaere could be on his way to Bayern Munich.
Details: Despite making progress in negotiations to sign Newcastle midfielder Anthony Gordon, Bayern Munich are preparing a backup plan. According to Football Italia, Atalanta's Charles De Ketelaere is being considered as an alternative to the Englishman if talks fall through.
The Munich club has been impressed by De Ketelaere's playing style and excellent vision on the pitch, while a price tag of around €40 million makes this potential transfer even more appealing.
In the 2025/26 season, De Ketelaere featured in 40 matches across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing seven assists. His current contract with Atalanta runs until June 2028.
