Next June, Kevin De Bruyne’s contract with Manchester City will expire, and he has offered his comments on the matter.

According to the Belgian midfielder, he is confident that negotiations regarding an extension will resume after the start of the season.

"I am sure there will be talks. I just want to feel good, play good football, and that will happen in the coming months. At the moment, I really don’t feel any urgency," De Bruyne stated.

Additionally, De Bruyne shared his thoughts on a potential move to Saudi Arabia. He admitted that he has not discussed this with anyone but acknowledged the considerable media speculation. De Bruyne mentioned that he had hoped for a peaceful summer.

"I said in the summer that I expected a quiet season, and that’s what happened. I was on vacation, came back, and started training. That’s all. Nothing more," added the player.

It is worth noting that there were rumors over the summer suggesting De Bruyne might change clubs and move to Saudi Arabia. Al-Ittihad reportedly offered the reigning Premier League champions a three-year contract worth £156 million.
