David Pagou stands by his selections following the publication of the squad
The manager of Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions defended his approach, stating that he was leaving the door open for a few targeted adjustments.
The list of Cameroonian players called up for the upcoming FIFA window was unveiled on Thursday 19 March. Speaking to the press on this occasion, David Pagou, Cameroon’s manager, explained his choices. The Cameroonian tactician stated that the aim is not to shake up the team but rather to make measured tweaks.
If you look closely at this list of selected players, the core of the team is still in place. The aim is therefore simply to add one, two or three players to continue building our team and, above all, to consolidate what we have achieved. We are not going to destabilise the squad. We need players with an excellent attitude, because, as you know, discipline within a squad is a fragile thing. And that is a reality, even if they are playing football.
