The 50-year-old former England and Manchester United star received his title on the king's birthday.

Details: In 2003, he was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, and since then, Beckham has expanded his influence far beyond the pitch. Since 2005, he has served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and last year he became an ambassador for the King's Foundation.

His former club, Manchester United, also marked the occasion, congratulating their legendary midfielder on social media.

During his 10-year spell with the Red Devils, the iconic midfielder claimed 12 major trophies, including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and Intercontinental Cup.
