From time to time, footballers, like everyone else, find themselves in trouble. While some are accused of drug trafficking, Danish forward Nicki Bille Nielsen has been arrested for a rather unusual reason.

Details: According to the Danish outlet Ekstrabladet, the 36-year-old footballer was jailed for robbing a supermarket. Nielsen stole boxed wine, juice, and Thai ready-to-eat meals. The stolen goods were valued at 176 Danish kroner, or approximately $25. He is currently under temporary detention until October 31.

Reminder: This isn’t Nielsen’s first run-in with the law. He has previously been in trouble for drug possession, assaulting a woman, driving under the influence, and issuing threats of violence. During one party, Nielsen was even shot with a firearm.

At 36, Nielsen has played for 16 clubs, including Villarreal, Rayo Vallecano, and Rosenborg. The latter was the most successful period of his career, with 24 goals and 10 assists in 50 matches for the Norwegian side.
