Dani Carvajal has become a true legend of Real Madrid, but his time at the club is coming to an end.
Details: According to Marca, the parties have reached an agreement for the Spanish defender to leave Real Madrid at the conclusion of this season.
We previously reported that Carvajal’s form had raised doubts within the club’s hierarchy about the need to offer him a new contract, while the player himself is seeking more minutes on the pitch than he is currently receiving.
Carvajal joined Real Madrid in 2013 from Bayer Leverkusen for €6.5 million. He has made 438 appearances for Los Blancos, scoring 14 goals and providing 65 assists. This season, Carvajal has featured in just 10 matches for Real Madrid and has yet to register a goal or an assist.
Reminder: Álvaro Arbeloa took over as head coach of Real Madrid a month ago, and noticeable changes in his appearance have already begun to attract attention.
