Security failed to protect the Greek businessman.

Details: The 58-year-old president of Olympiacos and Nottingham Forest, Evangelos Marinakis, was attacked by a fan in the stands during the EuroLeague basketball final between Olympiacos and Real Madrid.

Fan cameras captured the moment Marinakis first got into a heated verbal exchange with a man in the stands, and just minutes later was punched in the face and had his shirt torn.

After the incident, Evangelos was left with severe bruises and abrasions on his face.

It was later revealed that the attacker was former Greek Prime Minister's Secretary General Grigoris Dimitriadis, who, according to Marinakis, spat at him and ripped his shirt.

Nevertheless, the incident did not stop Olympiacos from beating Real Madrid 92-85.
