Croatia's national team coach Zlatko Dalić may take over Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, reports Vecernji list.

Al-Ittihad is showing interest in Dalić and hopes to officially begin negotiations with him soon. However, convincing him might be difficult, as the Croatian national team is his top priority.

Current Al-Ittihad coach Marcelo Gallardo is expected to leave the Saudi club soon. Among the candidates to replace him, the media previously mentioned former AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli.

Last season, Al-Ittihad finished in 5th place in the Saudi Arabian league.

For Croatia, Euro 2024 has already ended — Dalić's team earned two points in the group stage and failed to advance from the group.
