The disciplinary committee of the Saudi Arabian league has reached a decision in the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, who was accused of inappropriate behavior towards Al-Shabab fans.

The star of Al-Nassr has been suspended for 1 match and fined 10,000 riyals, equivalent to 2,457 euros. This decision is not subject to appeal.

This means that Cristiano Ronaldo will miss today's match in the 22nd round of the Saudi Arabian Championship against Al-Hazem.

As a reminder, after the match, Al-Shabab fans chanted "Messi! Messi!" at the final whistle, and Ronaldo demonstratively covered his left ear with his hand, then waved his right hand twice in the groin area.

It was anticipated that Ronaldo could have faced a suspension for two games due to his actions.

After 21 rounds, Al-Nassr occupies the second position in the Saudi Arabian Championship, trailing Al-Hilal by 7 points.

Ronaldo has scored 22 goals and provided 9 assists in 20 league matches this season.
