Cristiano Ronaldo leads all players at Euro 2024 in a controversial statistic

Portugal ended their Euro 2024 campaign at the quarter-final stage after a defeat to France.

The tournament did not unfold favorably for the main star of the European Selecao, Cristiano Ronaldo.

As previously reported, for the first time in his career, he failed to score a goal in a major international tournament. In 5 Euro matches, the Al-Nassr forward provided 1 assist.

However, there is one statistic where Ronaldo currently leads all players in the tournament, albeit one he is unlikely to appreciate.

Ronaldo was offside more times than any other player in the tournament - 8 times.

It's worth noting that Portugal lost to France in a penalty shootout and exited the tournament.
