Cristian Chivu is getting closer to taking charge of Inter

The Romanian specialist has emerged as the front-runner in the race for the head coach position at Inter Milan.

Details: Sports journalist Nicolo Schira reported on his X social media page that 44-year-old Cristian Chivu is just a step away from signing a contract with Inter.

It is known that the agreement with the Romanian coach could be finalized until 2027, with a salary of 2 million euros per year.

For the record, Cristian is a true Nerazzurri legend—he played for the club from 2007 to 2014, and since 2018 has been coaching various Inter youth teams.

Currently, Cristian manages Parma, with a contract running until June 30, 2026.
