Crisis reaches its peak. Nice head coach Franck Haise set to announce departure
A new wave of crisis is unfolding in Nice. The club’s head coach, Franck Haise, plans to announce his departure during a meeting with the players on Wednesday morning. This time, his wish to leave has been acknowledged by the club’s management, and both sides are reportedly close to reaching an agreement.
Details: According to Nice-Matin, Julien Sablé, currently the club’s academy director, is expected to take over as interim manager while the club searches for a permanent replacement.
Sablé is a familiar figure to Nice supporters: he played for the club from 2009 to 2012, and a decade later returned to lead the reserve team.
Currently, Nice sits in a disappointing tenth place in Ligue 1.
Reminder: Nice ultras deny violence towards club players Moffi and Boga.
