An absolutely incredible situation unfolded at the 2024 Olympics in the track cycling competitions.

Today in Paris, the women's team sprint qualification took place, with the British quartet clocking the fastest time.

What is astonishing is that the world record in this discipline was broken three times during the qualification!

First, Germany surpassed Mexico with a new world record of 45.377 seconds. Then, New Zealand overtook Poland, completing the distance in 45.348 seconds. However, even this record was ultimately broken by the British team, who beat Canada with a time of 45.338 seconds.

One can only imagine how thrilling the battle for medals in the women's team sprint will be, as the qualification rounds have shown that these teams are exceptionally well-prepared for the Olympics.
