Former undisputed champion Terence Crawford shared his thoughts on the current WBO junior welterweight titleholder, Teofimo Lopez.

Earlier, Lopez made a controversial remark, saying, “whatever monkey wants a banana,” when asked who he would prefer to fight — Crawford or Gervonta Davis.

Quote: "Teofimo is like a little kid crying for attention. If I or Tank [Gervonta Davis] had insulted him in a racial way, they would have blown it up, calling us racists, and it would have been all over the news.

The hate inside always comes out. This isn’t something that just slipped out; it’s something that’s been inside him, something he was taught as a child," Crawford said, as quoted by Michael Benson.

Recall: Earlier, Lopez stated his desire to fight Crawford.
