Crawford comments on the likelihood of a fight with Canelo
WBA World Champion at super lightweight Terence Crawford has assessed the possibility of a fight with WBC, WBA, and WBO champion at super middleweight Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
Quote: "We'll see. Who knows? We can't say it won't happen, and we can't say it will definitely happen. Let's just wait and see... I wouldn't say I'm 'chasing' Canelo.
I just want to have the opportunity to fight the best fighter of my generation. I just want to fight another great boxer, that's all. If the fight does happen, I think it will be the biggest fight in modern boxing," said Crawford, according to Michael Benson.
Reminder: Saul Alvarez fought his last bout in September, defeating Edgar Berlanga. Crawford emerged victorious over Israil Madrimov in August.
Earlier, we reported that Turki Al-Sheikh wants to negotiate with "Canelo" without intermediaries.
