Turki Al al-Sheikh wants to negotiate with Canelo without intermediaries
Turki Al al-Sheikh, head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, has expressed his desire to negotiate directly with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
Details: According to Boxing News24, Turki is willing to offer Canelo what the Mexican boxer wants, but since he doesn't know anyone from Canelo's entourage, he is prepared to conduct negotiations directly.
Quote: "I don’t know anyone from Canelo's team, and I have no connection with him, but if he hears me, I am ready to discuss what I want to discuss. Me and him, without any intermediaries," said Turki.
He also added that Terence Crawford is still recovering from an injury. However, he prefers to fight in Turkey after May.
Recently, Turki Al al-Sheikh announced the PPV (pay-per-view) cost for the boxing event scheduled to take place in Riyadh.
Reminder: The headliner for the night will be the rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed light heavyweight championship.
Earlier, the full card for the Riyadh boxing night was revealed.
