Speculation continues over Mohamed Salah's future, with Bayern Munich emerging as a potential destination for the Liverpool forward. While Salah is under contract until the summer of 2025, Liverpool have yet to offer him a new deal, opening the door to other major clubs, including Bayern, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad.
Former Bayern and Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann suggested that Bayern could be a perfect fit for Salah, citing the club’s focus on world-class wingers like Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sané. However, Salah’s past clash with Bayern coach Vincent Kompany might complicate matters.
Kompany was booked for a reckless challenge on Salah during a Premier League encounter in 2019. The Belgian allegedly insulted the Egyptian thereafter, sparking outrage. Referee Mark Clattenburg later suggested that Kompany was fortunate to avoid a red card in the incident.
Salah's future depends on Liverpool's choice and the interest of other European powerhouses, even though Bayern is still a compelling alternative.
