Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has speculated on why Tottenham fans still harbor hatred toward him after all these years. In an interview with AFTV, he suggested that the animosity might stem from the color of his skin.

To recap, in 2001, Campbell made the infamous switch from Tottenham to Arsenal, despite publicly promising to stay with Spurs. For crossing over to their fiercest rivals, Tottenham supporters branded him a "Judas." Even though nearly a quarter of a century has passed, the bitterness remains as strong as ever.

“They know not what they do. Because if you're (Tottenham fans) still hanging up on that, you see what happens. (You've got a) new stadium, new training ground, everything's amazing going forward and you're still harping on about me. Like, what's going on here? Is it a colour thing, is it a colour thing? Is there a colour thing about it? Is there an an underbelly colour thing that keeps you (Tottenham fans) going?” Campbell questioned.

Recently, the former England international starred in a Google Pixel ad, which appeared to reference his controversial transfer. In the ad, Campbell changes from a white sweater into a red one, emphasizing the importance of embracing new opportunities without fearing others’ opinions, as bold moves always pay off.
