A few days ago, experienced central defender Fabian Schär extended his contract with Newcastle, and today he nearly celebrated the occasion with an incredible goal.
Details: In the 11th minute of the 31st round of the English Premier League against Leicester, the Swiss defender almost scored, without exaggeration, the best goal of the year in England.
Schär intercepted the ball from his opponents on his own half, noticed the goalkeeper was off his line, and shot directly over his head. However, the ball astonishingly hit the crossbar.
