Coped without Ronaldo. Al-Nassr defeat Al-Ittihad in the headline clash

On Friday, February 6, the 21st-round match of the Saudi Pro League between Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad took place.

Cristiano Ronaldo did not feature in this encounter, as the forward was left out of the squad for the game. Even without him, Al-Nassr were able to get the job done.

Both goals came in the closing stages of the match. Sadio Mané opened the scoring in the 85th minute by converting a penalty, and in stoppage time Ângelo put the result beyond doubt with a second goal.

Al-Nassr defeated Al-Ittihad 2–0 and now have 49 points after 20 matches, trailing the league leaders by just one point. As a result, the title race remains very much alive.
