Overnight into Friday, May 8, the fourth-round Copa Libertadores group-stage clash between Independiente Medellín and Flamengo was suspended.
Details: The match got underway, but just a few minutes after kick-off, play was first halted and then completely abandoned. Home supporters invaded the pitch in protest against the club’s management.
Reminder: Recently, matches at the Rome Masters tennis tournament were also suspended and later postponed to another day.
